AEROPRESS

AeroPress, as a combination of immersion and drip coffee, is great if you love a sweet cup full of “low notes”—rich chocolate and nuttiness—with a heavier body than filter coffee, while still maintaining a cleaner cup with less grit than the French press.

Portable, lightweight and versatile, AeroPress is a fast brew method and is compact and made of medical-grade BPA-free plastic, so it’s great when traveling or otherwise on the go. This is a favorite brew method for those who love to experiment with recipes.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Bring filtered water to a boil.

  2. Place the filter in the AeroPress

  3. Add ground coffee and gently swirl the coffee around.

  4. Set the brewer in standard position on a cup.

  5. Start a timer, add 200ml water, aiming to wet all the coffee during pouring.

  6. Immediately place the plunger on top of the brewer, about 1cm in. This creates a vacuum to stop the coffee from dripping through. Wait 2 minutes.

  7. Holding the brewer and the plunger, gently swirl the brewer. Wait 30 seconds.

  8. Press gently all the way, it takes about 30 seconds.

  9. Drink and enjoy!
