Service Description

Whether you’re an absolute beginner in the world of filter coffee, or you want to develop your filter coffee technique, palate and vocabulary, this class is for you. We will be using various types of manual brewing methods so you can easily replicate what you learned at home. In this three-hour hands-on workshop, we will explain how coffee is grown, harvested and processed before it arrives at our roastery, and how to use the information on a bag of beans to choose the coffee you’ll love the most. We’ll be spending most of our time brewing and tasting coffees together, and you’ll learn how to make coffee using the V60 pour over method, AeroPress, French press and Moka Pot. We’ll talk about how we assess a brew and find accurate flavor descriptors for a coffee, and you’ll learn how to adjust the recipes to make your coffee taste just the way you like it. Each coffee class has a maximum of 3 participants, so you’ll have plenty of hands-on experience making coffee, and plenty of time to ask all your coffee related questions.
